Baghdad (NINA) – Ministry of Health announced preparing a Memorandum of Understanding with Japan for expertise exchange and scientific visits.
A statement issued by the ministry quoted the director general of the planning department as saying "the draft included exchange of expertise and scientific visits and the training of Iraqi staff, attending medical conferences, as well as activating the medical tourism between the two countries, in addition to the contribution of the Japanese companies in building and construction of hospitals in Iraq and exporting the developed medical equipment and requirements."
He added "construction of 7 hospitals within the Japanese loan to the MOH was also discussed." /End/
