Baghdad (NINA) – Law maker from the State of Law Alliance, Ali al-Allaq, affirmed that the National Alliance will reply to the message of Najaf's meeting with a message of support to Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki.
In a statement to the press on Thursday, May 23, Allaq said, "The National Alliance has prepared a reply message to the message of Najaf's meeting; it will be announced later, declaring support to Prime Minister Maliki affirming that no replacement for him.
He added that the National Alliance considers the National Meeting is the ideal solution to solve all of the country's outstanding problems and it welcomes any initiative or meeting that helps solving current crisis.
The Sadrist Trend handed the National Alliance's leader, Ibrahim al-Jafari, a message signed by four leaders out of five, including the Sadrist Trend's leader Muqtada Sadr, who met in Erbil on 28 of April, giving Maliki 15 days ultimatum to implement the resolutions of Erbil meeting, or they withdraw confidence in his government. Two days after the date, a meeting held at Sadr's residence in Najaf, after the meeting, Nijaifi said that Najaf's meeting gave Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki one week to implement Erbil's resolutions. / End.
