Russia demands releasing 4 motorists entered Iraq without visas

Baghdad (NINA) – Russia's Foreign Ministry demanded the release of four Russian motorists who are arrested for entering Iraq without having obtained visas.

The French News Agency quoted the Spokesman for Russia's Foreign Ministry saying that Russian Ambassador in Baghdad met with Iraq's President, Jalal Talabani, who promised their release, hoping this happens soon.

In a statement to the press, Russian Ambassador said that the four men entered Iraq on their motorcycles through Kurdistan region that enjoys self-rule. / End.
