Baghdad (NINA) - Leader in the Iraqiya Slate, Dhafir Al Ani, said the 5 + 1 meeting about the Iranian nuclear file, which is held in Baghdad, is another attempt to divert the attention from the Iraqi problem, which should be dealt first rather than any external problems.
He added in a press statement "Prime Minister, Nouri Al Maliki, has repeatedly diluting been procrastinating the commitment to the agreements through a policy of postponement and controlling of problems rather than solving them."
He continued, "while Maliki showed unprecedented keenness for solutions to the problems of others, he in turn did not think equally serious to find a solution to the dilemma of the government in Iraq. He offered his mediation to save the government of Bashar Al Assad and meeting the Syrian opposition while he did not think to meet with his partners in the government. "
He added, "as Maliki was keen to hold the Arab Summit despite that is was nothing but formal and refused to hold an Iraqi summit that should have taken place before it got worse. There he is today clinging to solve the problem of Iran with the international community over its nuclear program at the time he did not take the initiative to solve the partnership file in Iraq."
