Baghdad (NINA) – Ministry of Health announced banning “the import of poultry thermally treated products from Egypt and meat from Paraguay.”
A statement issued by the ministry said today “the ban came out upon veterinary reports that said the birds flu spread in those products thermally treated in Egypt.”
The statement added “the ministry decided also to ban the import of meat from Paraguay for the spread of Foot and Mouth Disease there despite reports that assert the disease does not infect humans through eating the meat after the slaughter of the animals.” /End/
