The Qatari Student Theater Festival opened in Diwaniya

Diwaniya (NINA) – The Qatari Students Festival was opened today on the artistic activities hall in Diwaniya city for the secondary schools hosted by the Ministry of Education, in cooperation with the Directorate General for Education in Qadisiya Province.

Participating in the festival, which ends by next Saturday, directorates of education of Anbar, 1st Karkh education office, 2nd Karkh education office, 1st Rusafa education office, Thi Qar, Muthanna, Qadisiyah, Basra, Najaf, Kirkuk, and Maysan. Plays acted and directed by students will be presented.

The opening ceremony included speeches that stressed the importance of holding such festivals in order to develop and refine the students' artistic talents. /End/
