Baghdad (NINA) - Kurdistan region's Planning Minister, Ali Sindi, discussed with a delegation representing the USAID the issue of 'primary health care' (outdoor patiants) the Agency intends to implement through joint financing.
The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) web site quoted Sindi affirming, during his meeting with the American Agency's delegation, headed by the Agency's representative in the region, Walter Dodge, the importance of such projects to guarantee modern health services through out the region.
The project consists of providing technical and training support, as well as consolidate the capacity of health staff members to limit mother and child mortality. / End.
