Football, media delegation to check the camps locations for the national soccer team

Baghdad (NINA) – Kamil Zeghayar, member of the Iraqi Football Federation, announced that a delegation from the federation and some journalists will accompany the Brazilian coach Zico to check out the training camp in Turkey, which will be organized for the national team for its final qualifications for the World Cup in Brazil on 2014.

He said in a statement to NINA that the delegation was scheduled to begin its visit this week, but, because of the Arab Summit due to be held in Baghdad the delegation trip was postponed to the beginning of next month.

He explained that the national team will play on May 20 or 21 in the United Arab Emirates the Egyptian team in a friendly match in preparation for World Cup qualifiers.

He pointed out that the national team according to Zico’s opinion will be arriving in the Jordanian capital Amman on June 1st to meet the Jordanian team on June 3rd. /End/
