A statement by the Ministry of Planning stated that Tamim called, today, Thursday, on the Arab countries participating in the meetings of the 58th session of the Arab Administrative Development Organization, held at the headquarters of the League of Arab States in Cairo, to ensure that the decisions and recommendations that result from these meetings are extraordinary, in light of the difficult and complex circumstances that the countries of the region are going through.”
The Deputy Prime Minister said, in his speech during the opening of the meetings, that this meeting represents a good opportunity and an important historical moment for the General Assembly of the Arab Administrative Development Organization to come together for its fifty-eighth session, at a critical and sensitive stage that the region and our Arab countries in particular are going through. He added “This requires that the decisions and recommendations resulting from this session be extraordinary.”
Tamim stressed that these decisions should be compatible and respond to the needs of this very complex stage, and we must not forget our people in Gaza and the blatant Zionist aggression they are subjected to, which has exceeded all humanitarian levels. He pointed out: “The election of a new executive council for the organization for the next two years should take into consideration the representation of the Arab countries in this Council, and its relationship to the position of paying the financial obligations incurred by the member states.”/End
