وجاء في نص تعليق وتوصية للعراقي لأتباع التيار الصدري: أيها الأحبة نودّ أن نعلمكم : أن مراسم التشييع الرمزي ومسيرة الشموع ستكون في يوم السبت القادم بعد صلاة العشاءين مباشرة في شارع البريد (مكان الإستشهاد) في النجف الأشرف. فالتزموا النظام ولا تؤذوا (قائدكم) بالعاطفة والتدافع والهتافات اللامركزية.. وشكراً لكم. /انتهى
