Damalouji: Iraqiya continues boycotting the Cabinet's sessions until demands of protestors met
25/03/2013 22:02:00

Baghdad (NINA) – Iraqiya Alliance said that it will continue boycotting the Cabinet's sessions until all legitimate demands of political forces and protestors met.

In a statement to the press on Monday, March 25, Iraqiya Alliance's Spokesperson, Maysoun al-Damalouji, said that Iraqiya Alliance will continue boycotting the Council of Ministers' sessions and join forces with the political process partners, mainly Ahrar Trend and Kurdish Alliance. It will not go back on its decision until constitutional demands of the major political forces and protestors are being met.

Damalouji added that Iraqiya Alliance has severed its relations with the Minister of Electricity, who failed to provide electricity and failed his commitment to abide by Iraqiya's decision, who made him minister.

She went on saying that Iraqiya condemns irresponsible and unconstitutional decisions, taken in the absence of bylaw organizing the Cabinet's work. / End.
