Police officer killed west of Mosul

Mosul (NINA) – Police officer of the Oil Pipelines Protection Force, killed when an improvised explosive device went off near the Strategic Oil Pipeline to Turkey.

Police source told NINA on Wednesday, Jan. 16, that an improvised explosive device emplaced near the Strategic Oil Pipeline, in Halabiya district, west of Mosul, went off killing the officer. / End.
