He added "The people of the provinces of Anbar, Diyala, Salahuddin and Mosul and some areas of Baghdad, will have a firm stance on this issue, will be announced this afternoon."
Hundreds of the Anbar tribes cut the international expressway north of Ramadi, which connects Iraq to Jordan and Syria to protest against the arrest of al-Issawi's protection team, but they retreated after giving the government a 24-hour deadline for their release.
