BAGHDAD / NINA/ Iraqi Foreign Minister, Hoshyar Zebari and Hillary Clinton discussed ,in a telephone conversation, the preparations of the visit of U.S high-level delegation to Baghdad.
Foreign Ministry statement said the two sides discussed a number of bilateral issues between the two countries, especially the next visits and meetings, especially the forthcoming visit of a high-level U.S. delegation to Baghdad. "
The statement added that " the both sides also discussed the situation of Syrian refugees and the Iraqi and international efforts to provide humanitarian aid and assistance required, in addition to the exchange of views and consultation of Iraq's regional relations and the repercussions of the Syrian crisis on the neighboring countries."
The statement noted that "the two sides emphasized Iraq's rejections of the regional interventions in the Syrian situation as well as Iraq's rejection to militarize the conflict," noting that "the two sides had agreed on continuing communication and consultation between the two sides." / End
