Sistani's Office announces Monday first day of the holly Eid Firt

Baghdad (NINA) – Office of the religious authority Ayatollah Ali Sistani announced that Monday, Aug. 20, is the first day of holly Fitr Eid.

A statement issued on Saturday, Aug. 18, by the Sistani's Office said that Crescent of the month of Shawal has not been observed, therefore, tomorrow, Sunday will be the last day of the month of Ramadan, and Monday will be the First of Shawal.

Earlier in the evening, the Sunni Endowment, and Kurdish Endowment announced that, tomorrow, Sunday is the first day of the holy Fitr Eid. / End.
