Barham Saleh informs Talabani results of his talks in Baghda

Baghdad (NINA) - Assistant Secretary General of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), Barham Saleh, informed President Jalal Talabani the results of his talks in Baghdad.

A statement issued on Thursday, Aug. 16, by the President's Office said that Barham Saleh paid a visit to President Talabani in Germany to be reassured of the President's health and congratulates him on the successful surgery he underwent.

It added that Saleh informed Talabani about the results of his recent talks with political leaders in Baghdad over important political issues and discussing holding a meeting when the President returns.

Recently, Barham Saleh visited Baghdad where he met with Iraqi political leaders, including Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki and leader of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakeem, and leaders of Ahrar bloc. / End.
