Baghdad (NINA) - Deputy Prime Minister, Rowsch Nuri Shaways, leaves for Tehran on Tuesday, Aug. 14, heading a high-ranking economic delegation on an official visit to Iran.
Iran's Mehr News Agency reported on Monday, Aug. 13, that the delegation accompanying Shaways consists of the ministers of Industry, Trade, Electricity and Finance, as well as Head of the Customs Authority and the Governor of Central Bank of Iraq.
During its 3-day visit to Tehran, the delegation is expected to hold talks with Iran's top officials, including Vice President Ali Saeed Lu.
The talks that Iraqi delegation, headed by Deputy Prime Minister, will hold with Iranian officials cover increase in size of trade between the two countries, establishing an Iraqi bank in Iran to consolidate economic relations and Iraq's debts to Iran, related to importing Iranian electricity. / End.
