Baghdad / NINA /-- Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki said "the Turkish role in the region is important but it must be away from interfering in the affairs of other countries.
He said in an interview with Turkish satellite / ahaber /: "The policy of the ruling Justice and Development party in the precedent phase called to resolve problems and outstanding issues, but what is happening now is increasing of problems because of the nature of Turkish role and positions adopted toward some neighboring countries.
He added: "What is regrettable on Turkey’s attitudes is dealing with Iraq's Kurdistan region, as an independent state, and this is unacceptable for us," noting, "If Turkey wants good relations, must be through the gate of Baghdad .
As for the Syrian file , al-Maliki said Syrian file is very serious, and that all countries will not be safe for what may happen there, so all must resort to dialogue and to stop arming all sides." / End
