Unidentified gunmen kill solider in Mosul.

Mosul / NINA / unidentified gunmen assassinated a soldier in western Mosul today.

A police source in Nineveh told / NINA / that "the soldier killed by small arms fired by insurgents on foot , while he was in duty at a checkpoint belonging to the army in Yarmouk district of western Mosul and fled to an unknown place ".

He pointed out that "the victim's body was delivered to the morgue at the center city in Mosul." / End
