He told / NINA / "any one tries to block the arming deal of the Iraqi Air Force F-16 aircraft should be prosecuted."
He added that "the process of arming the Iraqi army is part of building capacities of the Iraqi military forces to reserve the security and sovereignty of Iraq among the volatile situation that the region and the world prevail."
It is mentioned that some media talked about news that the President of Kurdistan, Massoud Barzani requested the U.S. not to provide Iraq with F-16s due to fear that may be used against the Kurds after Iraq had signed an agreement with the U.S. side to provide Iraq with 32 advanced aircraft of this type. / End
