Baghdad / NINA /-- Environment Minister Sargon Salio discussed with the German Ambassador in Iraq, Britta Vagnerazm German companies planning to invest in development and protection projects of environment in Iraq.
A statement by the ministry said today, "During the meeting both sides also discussed specialized German companies readiness to work in Iraq, particularly in the field of waste recycling and converted into energy and useful materials and to benefit again from the waste according to the latest technologies in the world and Iraq's need for such projects because of its significant effects in improving the environment and its economic benefit.
Ambassador Vagnerazm confirmed the German government willingness to support Iraq, particularly in this aspect and the possibility of benefiting from German expertise and technology in this sector." / End
