Abbawi, EU Ambassador discuss EU new visa measures

Baghdad (NINA) – Foreign Undersecretary, Labeed Abbawi, discussed with The Ambassador of the European Union and Slovak Republic to Iraq, Jana Haibshkova, accompanied with Italian Consul in Baghdad, the European Union's new measures in granting the (Schengen) visa to citizens from the Middle and North Africa.

A statement issued on Wednesday, Aug. 8, by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that in the meeting, discussion covered also developments related to Iraq's relations with the EU, mainly the upcoming visit of the EU delegation to Iraq to discuss the frame of implementing the Partnership and Cooperation Agreement between Iraq and the EU, signed on May.
