8 Killed, wounded north of Hilla

Hilla (NINA) – Two persons killed and six others wounded when an improvised explosive device attached to a car went off on Monday, Aug. 6, in Asriya village, northern Babil.

Babil Police Chief, Sabah al-Fatlawi, told NINA that the car belonged to a person who works as secret informer; he was killed in the blast, and that two of the wounded work at the police intelligence. / End.
