BAGHDAD / NINA / Oil Ministry considered that the continued targeting of Iraqi oil pipeline to the Turkish port of Ceyhan "will not affect taken it as an important way of oil export to Europe," that comes with news talked about an explosion targeted the pipeline today in Turkey.
The ministry spokesman, Assem Jihad told :/ NINA / "There is a joint coordination between the two countries , and each country is supposed to protect the pipelines that transport crude oil within its territories. "
He added: " Iraq can not dispense the tube carrier of crude oil across Turkish territory, especially , Iraq is planning ,the future, to extend the pipelines to transport additional oil and gas through the port of Ceyhan," noting that "Turkey will be at 2017, the most important way to export gas to Europe."
It is mentioned that a blast hit Kirkuk - Ceyhan oil pipeline, which carries about a quarter of Iraqi crude oil exports, causing a stoppage of pumping oil.
Officials in Turkish Energy Ministry said that the blast occurred in the state of Mardin, southeastern Turkey, and the reforms may take up to ten days. / End
