Ahrar bloc: Electoral Commission's law says no increase in the number of.

BAGHDAD / NINA / head of Ahrar parliamentary bloc, Bahaa al-Araji renew his bloc refusal to increase the number of members of the Electoral Commission.

He said in a statement to / NINA / "We need to act in accordance with the applicable law of the electoral commission, which says no increase in the number of members of the Electoral Commission."

He added: "to increase the number of members of the Electoral Commission , we needs to amend the law, which in turn, requires a political consensus," adding that "Ahrar bloc with the Parliament, and if the law amended in accordance with the Constitution, we might vote on the increase."


The political blocs demanded recently increasing the number of members of the Electoral Commission, which met with objection from the other blocks. / End
