BAGHDAD / NINA / House Speaker Osama Nujaifi discussed with the President of the Islamic Supreme Council Ammar al-Hakim, the relations between the political forces in Iraq and the current crisis in Syria.
A statement of Nujaifi's Office today said, during the meeting , both sides "emphasized the need to submit the reform paper in its final form during the last ten days of Ramadan, especially there is no satisfaction to the current political and security situations."
For his part, Nujaifi said that , the results of worsening political situation impacted negatively on the Iraqi street, and we at the Parliament insist to complete passing laws related directly to the citizens.
On the regional situation and the repercussions of the crisis the Syrian, both parties expressed their concern about developing the situation in Syria, especially the numbers of Iraqis and Syrians displaced. / End
