Baghdad (NINA) – The Shi'ite Endowment decided to provide humanitarian aid to refuges families from Syria.
A statement issued on Saturday, July 28, by spokesman for the Shi'ite Endowment, Ammar al-Musawi, said that the Shi'ite Endowment decided to provide foodstuff and material aids to refugees families from Syria, affirming that families returning home are to be welcomed and provide them with whatever they are in need of.
Earlier in the day, Mayor of Qa'im, Farhan Ftaikhan, said that the number of Syrian refugees in Anbar province increased up to 2704, most of them are women and children
Mayor Ftaikhan told NINA's correspondent to Qa'im district, western Anbar province, that Syrian refugees, who entered Iraq through Qa'im border outlet, have been placed in the towns of Qa'im and Ubaidi in schools nad government buildings. / End.
