2 policemen injured in clashes with gunmen in Mosul.

Mosul / NINA / two policemen were injured in armed clash south of Mosul this morning.

A police source in Ninawa told the reporter of the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / "Gunmen attacked a checkpoint, belonging to the police this morning at the entrance of Badush area, south of Mosul, and clashed with members of the point, wounding two policemen."

He added: "The gunmen fled to an unknown destination, while the security forces rushed to the scene to take the injured policemen to the hospital." / End
