10 Wanted captured, 2 IEDs deactivated in Diyala

Baquba (NINA) – Police in Diyala province arrested ten wanted persons and explosive ordnance disposal expert deactivated two improvised explosive devices in the province.

Security source told NINA on Saturday, July 21, that in search raids carried out by police resulted in the arrest of four wanted persons in Baquba, three in Khalis, two in Jalawla and one in Mendily; they are accused of criminal and terrorist charges.

He added that explosive ordnance disposal team deactivated one improvised explosive device in Baquba and another one in the town of Buhruz without causing in casualties or material damages. / End.
