Baghdad (NINA) – Iraqiya slate's lawmaker from Anbar province, Same'a al-Ghalab, said that police in Anbar reached on Friday, July 20, an agreement with Free Syrian Army on calming the situation on the province's border areas.
In a statement to NINA, Ghalab said that recent hours witnessed tension along the border areas between Iraqi forces and the forces of Free Syrian Army, especially in Albo-Kamal area.
She added that the Commander of Anbar Police agreed with the FSA to calm the situation between both sides to evade any violation by either side.
Earlier, the Free Syrian Army announced that it is in control of Syrian territories close to Iraqi borders. / End.
