Erbil (NINA) – Head of Kurdistan government's Foreign Relations Department, Falah Mustafa, discussed with Spain's Ambassador to Iraq, Khosea Torbin, bilateral relations.
Mustafa welcomed the Spanish diplomat's visit to Kurdistan region, reviewing the region's current situation.
For his part, Ambassador Torbin talked about the importance of consolidating the relations between Spain and Kurdistan region, pointing out that his country intends to appoint a Consul in Kurdistan region to consolidate bilateral relations.
He praised Kurdish government's representation in Spain for its role in consolidate relations between the two.
As for Iraq's current political crisis, Mustafa explained the region's stance represented in abiding by the Constitution and committed toward agreements reached to solve the crisis. / End
