Australian university to accept / 60 / Iraqi student for doctorate studies.

Baghdad / NINA /-- The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, announced that Australian Sornbern University has agreed to accept 60 students Iraqis to study for doctorate in advanced scientific fields, out of 400 scholarship obtained by the ministry from Australian universities.

A spokesman for the ministry said in a press statement that "the minister Ali al-Adeeb agreed with the president of the Australian University of Sornbern Linda Christnson during his current visit to Australia, to accept 60 Iraqi students to study for a doctorate in various disciplines, and promote cooperation in research and development of scientific expertise . / End
