BAGHDAD / Nina / Vice President Khudair Khuzaie confirmed during a meeting with the acting U.S. ambassador Steve Bekraft: that "The political crisis is ended, but there should be reforms."
A statement of his Office quoted him as saying during the meeting: "We need to repair the relations between the political figures and we will work to bring the parties to dismantle the various disputes and crises through a constructive dialogue in the framework of the Constitution."
He added "The talk with the political parties is seriously and the reform must begin with open dialogue and reconciliation."
From his side Bekraft said "The United States looks forward to the cooperation of various Iraqi parties to resolve differences and work on the country's stability and progress in the framework of a unified and strong Iraq ." / End
