A policeman killed, another wounded in assassination attempt in Mosul today.

Mosul / Nina / Unidentified gunmen assassinated a policeman and wounded another one when an armed clashes irrupted today south of Mosul.


A police source in Ninawa told / Nina / that "The policeman was killed Monday and another wounded in clashes with on foot armed gunmen at a checkpoint in Hammam Al- Alil south of Mosul."

The policeman's body was handed over to the Forensic medicine while the wounded one evacuated to a nearby hospital for treatment, without giving further details about the incident. / End
