Officer killed, soldier wounded in Diyala

Baquba (NINA) – An officer at the rank of Captain killed and a soldier wounded in an armed attack on a checkpoint in Diyala province.

Police source told NINA on Sunday, Jul. 1, that gunmen attacked a checkpoint in Bani-Sa'ad district, south of Baquba, killing an officer, at the rank of captain, and wounding a soldier. / End.
