Baghdad (NINA) – The Conference on Developing Economic Relations between Jordan, Iraq, Kurdistan region and Palestine opened on Wednesday, June 20, with the participation of 100 firms and is going to last for two days.
The Kurdistan region's government web site quoted the Chairman of Kurdistan region's Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Dara Jalil Khayat, saying in his speech before the Conference that about 100 businessmen from Jordan, Palestine, Iraq and Kurdistan are participating in the Conference.
Khayat added that the Conference will discuss means to develop the relations in the fields of information technology, pharmacology, health services, agriculture technology, foodstuff industry and olive related industries.
The site pointed out that the Kurdistan region's Chamber of Commerce and Industry organize the Conference on Developing Economic Relations between Jordan, Iraq, Kurdistan region and Palestine in cooperation with the American consulate in Erbil.
Businessmen from Jordan and Palestine arrived in Erbil on Tuesday evening. / End.
