BAGHDAD / Nina / Iraqiya white bloc described the upcoming meeting between Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki and Moqtada al-Sader, as positive step.
A statement of the bloc today quoting the Secretary General Jamal Al-Bateek as saying: "The political process has passed recently in problems almost led to the abyss, but the wisdom of President Jalal Talabani and some wise politicians, have made these problems a thing of the past" as he put it.
He added: "The Bloc supports any meeting between political leaders, in order to end the political crisis, and any meeting will have positive results, especially as it would be a democratic and civil dialogue."
It is expected that a meeting will be held between the Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki and Moqtada al-Sadr during the next period after the phone call between the two sides. / End
