Baghdad (NINA) – President Jalal Talabani congratulated the Iraqis and Moslems on the occasion of the night of Prophet Mohammad's ascension.

A statement issued on Saturday, June 16, by the President's Office quoted Talabani wishing the Iraqis and Moslems security and peace, as well as to consolidate fraternal relations among all their components and to work together to overcome obstacles they face. / End
