Baghdad / NINA /--Undersecretary for the Ministry of Foreign affairs, Labeed Abawi discussed with the Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq, Martin Kobler, and Steven Vasil from the Department of Political Affairs of the United Nations, the compensation issue and the file of missing persons and Kuwaiti property and the desire of Iraq to get out of Chapter VII as well as the implementation of Iraq’s obligations with regard the remaining of decisions concerning Kuwait.

It’s to mention that a UN team recently visited the Iraq-Kuwait border to see on the spot the boarder’s conditions and the boarder’s pillars , so expressed his appreciation of cooperation by both sides with representatives of the United Nations. / End
