Najaf / Nina / The leader of the Islamic Supreme Council Sadr al-Din Qabbanji, said "the council was not with the withdrawal of confidence from the government of Nouri al-Maliki, and the Council set itself as a part of the solution and make efforts to resolve the crisis."
He said during a meeting of Shura Council in Najaf: "The Supreme Council today leads efforts to resolving the crisis and bring all parties close to each other and committed to reform as much as we could."
Qabbanji pointed out that "the project of withdraw of confidence from the government caused a political crisis in the country because of the concerns and reservations of other components of the National Alliance, including the Supreme Council, to the post-process of the withdrawal of confidence." / End
