Baghdad (NINA) – Deputy Prime Minister, Rowsch Nouri Shaways, discussed with the Iranian Oil Minister, Rustum Qasimi, enhancing bilateral relations in different domains, especially oil and energy.
A statement issued by his office quoted him as referring to "the deep historical relations between the two countries and the Iraqi government's keenness on developing these relations in an economic frame that could benefit both countries," hailing the Iranian role in providing electricity.
It added that means to unify efforts that aim at coordinate work in the oil fields on the joint borders and the mechanisms to provide Iraq with power.
The Iranian delegation discussed the financial dues to Iran for the power supply to Iraq. /End/
