Sulaymaniya (NINA) – Deputy Secretary General of Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), Barham Saleh, discussed with the Special Representative of Russian President to the Middle East and Deputy Foreign Minister, Michael Bugdanov, and the delegation accompanying him, means to consolidate the relations between Kurdistan region and Russian Federation.
Informed source said that the two sides stressed their keenness to treat problems and crisis through constitutional means and dialogue.
He pointed out to the discussion touched on the participation of Russian Federation, its firms and investors in the ongoing investment and construction in Kurdistan region.
He pointed out that Barham Saleh requested the Russian President's Representative to urge Russian firms and investors to participate in the construction scheme in Kurdistan region, suggesting the holding of a Kurdish-Russian Economic Forum in Kurdistan region. / End.
