Baghdad (NINA) – President of Kurdistan region, Massoud Barazani, discussed with the Czech Ambassador to Iraq, Joseph Frabeek, the possibility for Czech companies to participate in the construction of Kurdistan.
The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) web site quoted Barazani praising the deep historic relations between Kurdistan region and Czech Republic, and the region's desire to establish best relations between them. He expressed Kurdistan's readiness to help Czech companies come to Kurdistan region and facilitate their works in the region to participate in the construction scheme and contribute in activating the region's economic activities.
For his part, the Czech Ambassador expressed his country's desire to consolidate its relations with Kurdistan region in all fields; he announced an upcoming visit of a Czech industrial and commercial delegation, headed by the Czech's Minister of Industry and Trade, to Kurdistan region and holds talks with concerned authorities. / End.
