Baghdad (NINA) – Secretary General of the Cabinet's Secretariat, Ali al-Alaq, chaired the meeting of the First Iraqi-American Dialogue Committee on Trade to establish connecting link between public and private sectors.
A statement issued on Sunday, May 20, by the Cabinet's Secretariat quoted Alaq saying, "The meeting discussed the biggest challenge to Iraq's economy, in light of the new investment system, for its role in providing suitable environment to attract investors."
He added, "The processes of developing know how guarantees organized movement to deal with the private sector and study all suggestions and projects."
For her part, Head of Trade Bank of Iraq, Hamdiya al-Jaf, pointed out, "The Committee coordinate and bring close points of view to overcome obstacles, in addition to the possibility to establish an Investment Fund to support project of economic feasibility to put an end to the country's unemployment."
The Secretariat pointed out that the Committee presented a study of the problems and obstacles to enable it activate Iraq's economic project. / End.
