Abbawi, Spain's Ambassador discuss bilateral relations

Baghdad (NINA) – Foreign Undersecretary, Labeed Abbawi, discussed with Spain's Ambassador to Iraq, Khosea Torbin Molina, bilateral relations and Spanish government's desire to activate bilateral relations and cooperation.

A statement issued on Sunday, May 20, by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the two agreed to hold as soon as possible the next meeting of Joint Iraqi-Spanish Commercial, economic, scientific and Technical Committee, to be proceeded by a preparatory meeting by senior officials.

The two stressed the importance of exchange of visits between the two countries senior officials.

Ambassador Molina presented an official invitation of Spain's Defence Minister to his Iraqi counterpart, Acting Defence Minister, Sadoun al–Dulaimi, to visit Spain. / End.
