Mrs. Talabani arrives in Maysan to get acquainted with the marshes' situation

Amara (NINA) – Chairman of Maysan provincial council, Abdul Hussein al-Sa'edi, met on Sunday, May 20, with Mrs. Heero Ibrahim, the wife of President Jalal Talabani, who arrived in Amara on the invitation of the province's Council.

Sa'edi told NINA that Mrs. Talabani arrived in Bateera military airport in Amara, to have a few days field tour to be acquainted with the situation in the marshes' area.

He added that upon her arrival, Mrs. Talabani visited a number of health institutions be acquainted with the health situation in the province.

He pointed out that a committee has been formed to coordinate with the President's Office, and will continue its work after the visit to benefit the province. / End. / End.
