Baghdad (NINA) – MP from the White Slate, Kadhim Al Shimmary, said the meeting of Najaf proposed by Muqtada AL Sadr, Leader of the Sadr Trend, is either a step on the way to solving the political crisis of reaching to the no-return point.
He added in a press statement today “the Najaf step could be a gate for the solution of the growing crisis between the Iraqiya Slate and the State of Law Coalition, which extended to the Kurds and the Sadr Trend, especially after the end of the Sadris altimatum without a response from Maliki.”
He explained that the Najaf meeting is obliged to come out with a decision especially as the conferees are now complete with the arrival of the members of the Erbil summit, referring that the decision would convey two faces only; either a solution for the crisis or turning the crisis into a no-return road.
A source at the political commission in the Al Sadr office in Najaf announced that Sadr will host at his home a meeting of leaders of some political blocs on the political crisis in the country.
The source told NINA correspondent that there will be a joint press conference of the leaders would be held to announce a joint statement which lays out the political map for the future of Iraq for the next period. /End/
