Baghdad (NINA) – Supreme Coordination Committee for follow up on the governmental conduct hosted minister of health, Majeed Hamad Ameen, to follow up on the health status in Iraq and means for developing it.
A statement issued by the general Secretariat said today “during the meeting presided over by Secretary General of the Cabinet Ali Al Alaq and attebded by State Minister for Provinces Affairs Torhan Al Mufti and Deputy Secretary General Farhad Ni’matallah Hussein and members of the coordination committee to get acquainted with the status of health and service projects and the shortage in medical equipment and medicines.”
It added “the conferees were informed with the information given by the officials in the ministry about the health monitor and the implementation of building 10 hospitals in the provinces.”
It went on saying ‘the conferees referred to the shortage in the anesthetic and nursing staff and agreed on providing more allocations for the ministry to improve health status in hospitals.” /End/
