Drinks unfit for human consumption damaged in Karbala

Karbala (NINA) - Health Department at Karbala damaged large amount of carbonated drinks nearly 31.700 cans as well as a number of dairies.

In a statement to NINA, Head of Health Control at Karbala, Aziz Jaber, said that a number of health control committees implemented a campaign, on the owners of stores that sell wholesale food and retail and street vendors, with the help of the national security office, damaging more than 31.700 cans of drinks as well as some kinds if dairies.

He added that the committee arrested some doubtful foodstuffs to be tested in laboratories and will be damaged if they proved to be unfit for human consumption. /End/
