Baghdad (NINA) - Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Ali Al Adeeb, discussed with the German Ambassador in Baghdad, Karl Berger, and the delegation of the German Association of International Cooperation, the possibility to benefit from German expertise in the field of technical education.
A statement issued by the Ministry quoted Adeeb as saying during the meeting today "Iraq needs the German advanced experience to fill the scientific gap with the developed world after years of war and embargo," adding that "this requires cooperation with international institutions with considerable experience in the field of technical education.".
For his part, , the German ambassador expressed his country's readiness to provide expertise in particular through the establishment of advanced training centers to teach the scientific course and equipped with modern devices and equipment necessary to train the Iraqi cadres working in the field of technical and vocational education. /End/
